Learning From My Gaming Errors
I have been wagering on the web or at real life casinos for a good many years. I have learned, the fixation can take a hold of you and you won’t even see it till you are beaten. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I have been through many thousands of clams in a very short period of time and at times, I will go too far. It feels like you are just enjoying yourself up until you make a choice to contemplate your losses and the blame settles in, and then you keep advising yourself "I might be able to earn the money back" ad infinitum. It does not work. Then you get queasy in your stomach and the more you try the more rapidly you spend.
When you find that you are up, STAY in the Black! When you start to lose, do not convince yourself, "well only maybe 1 more" a number of times, trust me, this tactic RARELY ever works. Say you are wagering on slot machines, keep a figure separate before beginning your gambling. DO NOT go over that threshold, no matter how appealing. If you happen to earn, put the winnings in a separate cup. Don’t bet your profits at any cost. Once you have wagered through your initial set cutoff, stop. Depart, whether it is on the internet or at a land based gambling den, do not stay around. At all times keep in mind, there no doubt will be another day, another time. Obviously, this technique can work for any game that you enjoy, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, twenty-one or any other game.
Keep in mind, wagering should be entertaining not burdensome, appalling work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong at the casinos. If you can’t afford the hit, don’t even begin.
